About the Course
This Oregon Food Handlers Card training is approved by the Oregon Health Authority (OHA). The online course uses interactive training techniques to help learners understand key food safety principles, such as preventing contamination, practicing proper hygiene, controlling time and temperature, and maintaining clean preparation areas.
To receive your Oregon Food Handler Card, complete the training and pass the final test. After successfully passing the exam, you can immediately download your food handlers card.

Course Outline
- Explain how food can become contaminated and lead to foodborne illness or allergic reactions.
- Demonstrate proper hand hygiene and personal practices to prevent contamination of food, surfaces and materials.
- Recognize symptoms and illnesses that must be reported to a manager according to food safety guidelines.
