San Diego County Food Handlers Can Now Test and Train All Online

StateFoodSafety.com is excited to be the first 100% online food handler training and testing provider approved by the San Diego County Department of Environmental Health. The health department began approving online training and testing for food handlers in San Diego County on August 6, 2014. Thanks to this change and the recent approval of StateFoodSafety.com, food handlers in the area can now train and test online and print their own food handler card.

This is a big change for San Diego County food workers because they are no longer required to attend classes in person or take a proctored test to receive their food handler card. They can get their San Diego County Food Handler Card online. StateFoodSafety.com is responsible for registering each food handler with San Diego County.

For informational purposes, San Diego County was one of three counties originally exempted from the California Food Handler law in 2011. According to the California Food Handler Law, all food handlers must obtain a food handler card through an ANAB accredited food handler program. This law still applies to the rest of California and StateFoodSafety.com provides this ANAB accredited and approved Food Handler Training and Testing. We also provide Alcohol Server Training and Food Protection Manager Training that is preparatory to taking one of the nationally accredited food protection manager exams.

You can make sure you select the right course for your area by going to StateFoodSafety.com and following our simple course selection process.

StateFoodSafety.com works hard to provide a better learning experience to regulatory agencies, the restaurant industry, and food service professionals by providing the best courses, the best technology, and the best service. And now all your training and testing can be done in the comfort of your own home! We hope you choose to train with us in the future.
