This training is accredited by the International HACCP Alliance through our partnership with HACCPTraining.org. The online program meets the two-day (16- hour) course equivalency.
This program teaches food safety principles and hazards, equipping students with the knowledge and skills to effectively implement Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP) in their facilities.
Comprising 14 units, each lasting approximately one hour, the course is rich in checklists and implementation guides designed to support your learning journey. Upon successfully completing the program, students will receive a certificate accredited by the International HACCP Alliance.
Upon completion, you will be able to:
- Explain the history and importance of food safety management systems
- Describe the process for hazard identification and evaluation
- Identify hazards that exist within your facility and conditions for pathogen growth
- Describe the prerequisites (documents and procedures) necessary to implement a HACCP plan
- Develop a HACCP plan for your facility
- Apply the seven principles of HACCP at your facility: Hazard analysis, critical control points, critical limits, monitoring procedures, corrective actions, verification procedures and record-keeping.
