Welcome to the Utah County Health Department
Food Handler’s Permit Online Training Portal

A Utah County permit is only valid for work within Utah County.

The Utah County Health Department, together with Proton Communications and CourtesyTraining, have developed an hour long online version of the required Food Handler’s Permit course.

To register for the Safe Food Handling Course and receive your Food Handler’s Permit, follow these simple steps:

1. To buy the course, click on (buy now)

2. Continue following the directions through to "Check Out". Once you have completed the "Check Out" process you will receive further instruction in order to begin the training.

Note: An Internet connection of 256k or higher is required to take any of our courses.

Remember, you must complete the training and pass the 30-question online test with at least a 70% at the end of the course to qualify to receive your required Food Handlers Permit.When the training is complete, your permit will be mailed to you within 7-10 business days.

A Utah County permit is only valid for work within Utah County.
